Home Meet #2 vs. Regency
Summerfield Pool
Start: 9:00 AM
Warm-up: 7:30 AM

Home meet against Canyon Springs Sailfish.

Swimmers need to be at the Summerfield pool at 7 am. We will be writing events and heats on arms. Please do not put sunscreen on before we write on your arms. Warm up for Tiger Sharks will start at 7:30 a.m.

Team swim suits and caps are mandatory for meets. A prior year cap can be worn, or a new silicone one can be bought on our website for $10 (under "Shop"). Swim suits can be purchased at D&J Sports, located at 6413 Blanco Road.

We are asking residents to please walk to the meet to conserve parking for the visiting team. You may want to drop off your swimmers at the pool, go back home, park, and walk to the meet.

We will be sending out an email with the heat sheets on Friday. Please review it and take note of the events your children will participate in. Swimmers are encouraged to stay for the entire meet. If this is not possible, then ALWAYS check out with the HEAD COACH.

No one will be allowed on the baby pool. Parents, help us keep the swimmers and little ones away.

Summerfield swimmers will sit on the starter's side of the pool, under the canopies. Parents sit outside the fence, but are welcome and encouraged to come poolside when their swimmers are swimming.

Time Trials/Practice Meet
Summerfield Pool
Start: 5:45 PM
Warm-up: 5:00 PM

Time Trials and Practice Meet - THIS WILL BE RUN JUST LIKE A MEET!

Summerfield swimmers will sit on the Starter's side of the pool, just as they do during a home meet.  Athletes will be timed in all strokes in which they are eligible, and these times will be used to determine the entries for our first meet of the season.  Please read through the Team Handbook (on our website, under "Resources") prior to the Time Trials!

Veteran parent volunteers will demonstrate how the meet is run, giving less experienced volunteers the opportunity to practice and see how it's done.  Many roles require "certification" before you can perform them in a meet; for most roles, this is satisfied through a practice session.  Remember, the more roles that you are "certified" in, the easier it will be to fulfill your volunteer obligation!
