Join us for a fun night of Tigersharks fundraising as we host the Summerfield Swim Team's FIRST-EVER Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament and raffle! Whether you're a "pokershark" or just want to be a spectator, this night promises to be a great way to support our team and get to know your fellow swim team parents!

WHAT:

Charity poker tournament and raffle. All proceeds benefit your Summerfield Tigersharks swim team!

WHO:

We love our kids, but this event is ADULTS ONLY. No poker experience necessary.

WHEN:

Saturday, June 4th

Doors open at 6 pm, cards fly at 7 pm (for us non-poker language speakers, that means you are in your seat and cards are dealt at 7 pm)

HOW:

• Players ($40 entry fee):
  • Reserves your poker table seat complete with professional dealer (the professional dealers are also there to help players who are less experienced)
  • Food, beer, wine, and beverage wait service included
  • DOUBLE your chips plus get THREE RAFFLE TICKETS for an extra $20.
  • Winners from FIRST to NINTH place get awesome prizes! See prizes below!

  • If you don't feel like playing poker, but want to join the fun and socialize with other swim team parents, this is the option for you.
  • Allows clubhouse entry
  • Food, beer, wine, and beverage wait service included

• Raffle - THIS APPLIES TO ALL SWIM TEAM PARENTS, including poker players on Saturday evening
  • The raffle is open to all swim team families. It is not limited to parents playing in the poker tournament.
  • $10 for one raffle ticket
  • $20 for three raffle tickets

  • Raffle winners will be drawn at 9:00 pm during the poker tournament.

  • Raffle tickets can also be purchased the night of the poker tournament.

After reviewing the raffle list, I'm sure you're thinking......hmm, how do I get in on that raffle if I'm not able to attend the poker tournament. Well, we have a solution for you. NEED NOT BE PRESENT TO WIN. My favorite 6 words in the raffle industry. We will have raffle tickets for sale at practice this week. We accept cash or cc. You'll write your name on your ticket (similar to the VIP parking raffle we had last week), and if we pull your name on Saturday night, and you aren't present, we will contact you to claim you prize. It's possible you may have to sign up for a swim meet volunteer shift to actually receive your prize, but we'll work through those details later.
